What is it?

HormonAid is designed to work alongside the natural cycle of the mare, helping to relieve tension and support a more amenable demeanour.

Spring and summer can be testing times for the ridden mare. Oestrus cycles cause sudden, dramatic changes in hormone levels resulting in irritable and irrational behaviour.

HormonAid supports the transition through the oestrus cycle and encourages a relaxed mood.

What’s in it?

HormonAid is a unique combination of Vitex Agnus Castus, Lemon Balm, Green Tea and Passion Flower, alongside Vitamins B1, B6, D3 and Magnesium to promote a good mental attitude and ease muscle cramps and tenderness.

Vitex Agnus Castus supports hormone production, helping to ease transitions through the oestrus cycle.

Lemon Balm is a herb we use for its calming effects. Lemon Balm is used in combination with other herbs and amino acids has shown its diverse effectiveness at relieving anxiety and nervousness.

Green Tea contains L-Theanine which is an amino acid that helps with relaxation without drowsiness. We used L-Theanine in combination with other amino acids and herbs.

Passion Flower is used for its ability to improve relaxation.. The effect from passion flower on its own can sometimes be variable, which is why we use it in combination with other herbs and amino acids for a more reliable effect.

Vitamins B1, B6 and D3 are required through the oestrus cycle.

Magnesium helps to ease hormone associated muscle cramps and/or tenderness which may cause mares to feel uncomfortable under saddle at certain times in their cycle.

Ingredients & Feeding Guide

Level 25ml (17g) scoops per day

Pony – approximately 250kg | 1 1/2 Scoops
Horse – approximately 500kg | 3 Scoops
Large Horse – over 750kg | 4 1/2 Scoops

Introduce to feed slowly. Mix thoroughly with feed and split between meals where possible.

Do not exceed the recommended intake.

Active Ingredients Per daily feeding rate for a 500kg horse (51g = 3 x 25ml level scoops) provides: Vitex Agnus Castus 5.0g, Passion Flower 4.0g, Calcium 3.5g, Lemon Balm 2.4g, Theanine 2.4g, Magnesium 1.6g, Vitamin B1 500mg, Vitamin B6 250mg, Vitamin D3 3000IU.

Analytical Constituents: Crude Protein 17.0%; Crude Fibre 20.4%; Crude Oils & Fats 2.4%; Crude Ash 24.4%; Moisture <5%; Sodium <1%.

Composition: Linseed Expeller, Vitex Angus Castus, Passion Flower, Calcium Carbonate, Lemon Balm, L-Theanine, Magnesium Malate.

Additives (per kg of finished product): Vitamins and provitamins: Vitamin B1 (3a3820) 10.2g/kg, Vitamin B6 (3a831) 5.1g/kg, Vitamin D3 (3a671) 61472IU/kg.

Click & Collect

We offer a click & collect service for those close by to our warehouse. We are right on the East Coast about a five minute walk from the beach. Why not bring your horse (or dog!) for a mooch and pick up your products on the way home? We have someone in house from 8am until 5pm every day, but we will pop you an email to let you know when your product is ready for collection.

Returns
We hope you will be pleased with your order, but if you are not we are happy to refund or exchange items. All we ask is that you return them in original packaging and unopened/unused with all original labels.
